I <3 Raggy!

This was my first attempt at raggy appliqueing and I think I am in LOVE!  How cute is this?  It was fun to do and I layered some plush fiber behind it to make it puff up even more!  This design would be darling on a T-shirt, or a burp cloth too!  I have several designs that are raggy and can be added to basically any alpha applique I have.  The sky is the limit… what do you want done?

What’s in a Name?

Ok I need some comments.  I have designed some labels for me to use on my things and I am wondering about where, and if to place them on my T’s?  Here is my newest little goodie for my oldest Granddaughter, and I added the lable to the inside of the pants and love how that looks.  But my delima is this, do I put it on the bottom right of her T too?  I think it looks cute, and is great for name recognition, but does it take away from the design?  I don’t want to do that either.  What are your thoughts? 

Here is her outfit and I am going to make a coordinating applique T to go with the ruffle pants out of matching fabric.

So I know I would need to tack it on, but do you like it with or without the label?  I want to be consistent in my designs so what are your thoughts?

Southern Living Font

This font was recently in an issue of Southern Living and I was so happy when it became available in an embroidery font.  I made up these hand towels for us to show it off!  What do you think?  Wouldn’t it be pretty on an apron or table runner?  I see Christmas gifts!  :)T

I got a little Ruffled yesterday!

Well I have been seeing these darling little ruffle pants with matching T’s so I had to try one for myself.  Well not myself, but for Annie ( my oldest granddaughter, who is 4 ).  I made this for her Halloween Parties and I am so happy with the way it turned out.  Love mixing and matching fabrics and colors so this was right up my alley.  I have a couple of more to sew up for her, but wanted to show this one off.
